The Telegraph Magazine, October 2018.
In a feature in The Cut on The Best of British, The Telegraph interviewed our co-founder Arabella Preston on her route to starting Votary.
Arabella confesses to having always loved make-up, and to having transferred her childhood love of brushing her dolls’ hair to prepping models’ skin when she worked as Kay Montano’s assistant. From there she began the quest for a facial cleansing oil which removed make up properly, contained no mineral oils, and left skin glowing, healthy and comfortable. Votary Rose Geranium and Apricot Cleansing Oil is what she came up with, and the rest is cult skincare history.
